The Zeppelin Chronicles Episode 1: "Led Zeppelin I"
On the 1st Episode of Shout It Out Loudcast's new sidecast, The Zeppelin Chronicles, our hosts, Tom & Zeus from Shout It Out Loudcast, SIOL's favorite nice guy Murph, along with Jay Scott from The Hook Rocks review Led Zeppelin'siconic 1969 debut album, "Led Zeppelin I."
Newly formed Led Zeppelin led by Guitar God Jimmy Page, bassist extraordinaire John Paul Jones, the ultimate frontman Robert Plant and the greatest rock drummer of all time, John Bonham released their debut album on January 12, 1969 and never looked back. From the opening of Good Times Bad Times. to one of their signature songs Dazed And Confused, to the heavy metal original Communication Breakdown, "Led Zeppelin I" was groundbreaking. The album contained elements of blues, folk, rock, heavy metal, innovative drumming and guitar playing, which included a violin bow.
Led Zeppelin was like no band before or since.
The Zeppelin Chronicles will be breaking down all of Led Zeppelin's catalog SIOL style. The guys who are all massive Led Zeppelin fans, will discuss their connection with "Led Zeppelin I", the album cover, the background of the album and finally all of the songs. They will then rank the nine songs. Eventually ranking the album and album cover against future Led Zeppelin albums that they will review.
